We created this mini-course because we know deep in our bones that birth is as much a spiritual journey than a physical one, and we see that conversations about the transformation one undertakes through birth are left completely out of the cultural dialogue about birth. That is truly a tragedy and this is our small part in remedying that for expectant and new families seeking language for the power, pain, triumph, and trauma they experienced on one of the most important days of their lives.

Birth will change you, this we know. Whether you give birth or witness it, you will become a new person when you sit humbly at the feet of its power. May this course be your first step in doing so.

This course is for everyone curious about how human life happens!

We walk you through human reproductive anatomy, the hormones and cycles of menstruation, the magical details of conception, implantation, and the formation of the placenta, and give some practical tips for caring for your womb, whether or not you’re making babies.

This course also makes a great addition to homeschool science curriculum.

This postpartum and newborn education course is designed for families who will soon or have recently welcomed a new baby by birth of any kind. Birth often brings surprises and challenges, and we can't always predict what those will be. We believe the way to best prepare for each postpartum and newborn child is to be educated and inspired, rather than fearful and filled with misinformation.

We have broken the course up into 7 sections. Most sections have several videos from Emily or Carey. Each section has documents, graphics, and/or links to articles, websites, and podcasts.
